About Us

The Maya Centre is a not-for-profit specialist counselling service run by women for women.

The objectives of the charity are:

1.   To provide relief for women who are suffering from mental health problems by means of therapeutic services;

2.   To educate the general public on the subject of mental health.

Aims of the charity:
The charity has the general aim of improving the mental health of deprived and marginalised women by providing free individual counselling for up to a year and group therapy for up to two years.
