The Maya Centre is a community-based, multi-ethnic, women’s psychodynamic counselling centre.
We are looking for a woman to join us in delivering our free counselling service to women on poverty-level incomes in Islington.
1. Up to 5 hours Sessional Counsellor for our Migrant and Refugee Project
-Psychodynamic counsellor /psychotherapist required with BACP/UKCP/BPC registration and two years’ post-qualification experience.
-Experience of working with Migrant, Refugee and Asylum Seeking Women.
-You will have fluency in a second language (preferably in mother tongue) and the ability to provide counselling in that language.
