Our service is not a crisis centre, if you are in crisis and need urgent support please see below

If you feel suicidal or feel like harming yourself or other people:

  • Call 999
  • Go to your nearest Accident and Emergency department (A&E). You can search for your local department through the NHS Choices website

Mental health services

If you are already receiving support from mental health services you should have a care plan. This will include details of who you should contact in a crisis.

If you can’t find your care plan:

 

During the day

 
Contact your Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and ask for your care co-ordinator or the person on duty.

 

During evenings, weekends or bank holidays

Call your local crisis team.

Camden and Islington Mental Health Emergency Lines

Psychiatric Liaison Team

This is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Go to Accident and Emergency at the Whittington Hospital or University College Hospital.

Crisis Resolution Team

If you would like to refer yourself to the crisis team you can call 020 3317 6777 for urgent help or contact your GP who can refer you. If you have already been referred to the crisis team you can phone them at any time on 020 3317 6333.
