The Maya Centre is committed to providing free counselling to minoritised women on low incomes.
Donations are vital to our work, ensuring that we continue to offer a free, safe space for women at The Maya Centre. By donating to us directly, you join our community of supporters who want to see women’s mental health and wellbeing prioritised and championed.
There are a few ways in which you can do this:
Fundraise your own way
Do you enjoy a challenge?
We love working with community groups or larger corporates who want to fundraise for us via a sponsored run, cycle or bake-off – all ideas welcome!
We have some opportunities for volunteers to support our work:
Buy our limited-edition art cards
Why not send a thought to a special woman in your life?
The Maya Centre has a small number of limited edition art cards, designed by our Art Therapist Joanna Sellam in support of the work we do here.
Cards can be purchased in packs of 4, please contact us for further information.

Our quarterly newsletter is a great way to stay in touch with our work, reading about latest developments and finding out about any community events we have coming up.
Over the past year, our supporters have included a range of funders, regular donors committed to our cause, as well as one-off donations
These vital donations have come from companies like Oner Active, Kingsley Napley LLP and BUPA; foundations like The Cara Delavingne Foundation; fundraisers from initiatives like The Dough Exchange; in-kind product donations or percentage of sales from shops like L’Occitane, House of Hackney, Skomer and Abigail Ahern.
We have also been lucky enough to benefit from corporate volunteers from the BIG Alliance, as well as both qualified associate and trainee counsellors on placement with us.
