Psychoeducation Groups

Our psychoeducation groups are structured learning sessions designed to help women better understand mental health and wellbeing in a small group of up to 10 women. They are led by qualified and specialist therapists with experience in running group settings.

Unlike group therapy, psychoeducation groups focus more on learning, rather than deep emotional exploration. They are a great starting point for those considering 1-to-1 counselling or group therapy, offering a gentle introduction to therapeutic spaces.

Psychoeducation groups typically run for 4 to 8 weeks, on the same day and time each week, often during school hours to support mothers in our community.

Each group is:

  • Well-researched and thoughtfully presented
  • Tailored to the needs of our communities
  • Delivered in a safe and welcoming space, with time to share experiences, raise concerns, and learn from others

Themes vary and may include:

  • Depression
  • Grief
  • Self-trust
  • Reclaiming Radiance Within – building inner strength and confidence
