Partner with the Maya Centre and help change lives. By becoming a corporate sponsor, your organisation can make a real and lasting difference to women’s mental health and wellbeing. Together, we can offer free therapy and emotional support to women on low incomes who have faced trauma, violence, inequality, and discrimination, helping them find healing, hope and a stronger sense of self.
Right now, more than 150 women are waiting for therapy with us, and the list continues to grow. The lasting effects of Covid-19, the rise in Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), and the cost-of-living crisis have left many women struggling with their mental health and with fewer places to turn for support.
Many of the women we see face complex and painful challenges.
Your organisation’s partnership can help us meet this growing need, giving more women access to free, trauma-informed counselling and community wellbeing support that can be truly lifesaving.
With your help, we can continue to provide free counselling and group workshops to women who might otherwise go without. For many refugee and asylum-seeking women, having therapy in their own language is the first time they’ve been able to safely share their story.
Our work focuses on building trust, resilience and voice, addressing the diverse and intersectional needs of women in our community. The results are powerful:
After completing counselling
After taking part in group support
Our by-women, for-women community offers a safe, inclusive space to heal, rebuild confidence and move towards a brighter future.
