It’s hard to believe that 16 months have passed since we closed the doors to the Maya Centre at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the past year has presented unforeseen challenges, it has also been an exciting period of development as we rolled out virtual services, launched campaigns and welcomed new staff members into the fold.
As we look ahead to reopening the office for face-to-face work in the near future, the staff of the Maya Centre decided to come together on Saturday 12th June to spruce up the centre and engage in some socially distanced creative activities around our vision, mission and direction.
The following photos capture our trustees and therapists bringing the Marie Kondo magic to the Maya Centre. It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces in person and connect with our wider team online – and needless to say, the office is now definitely looking shipshape!
